Dr. Debalina Sengupta is an accomplished medical educator with a strong foundation in physiology. She earned her M.B.B.S. from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata, in July 1998 (University of Calcutta) and completed her M.D. in Physiology from R.G. Kar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, in June 2012 (West Bengal University of Health Sciences). With over a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Sengupta currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital, Rampurhat, a position she has held since December 2022.

Previously, she contributed as a Demonstrator/Tutor and later as an Assistant Professor at NRS Medical College, Kolkata. She has published six research articles in MCI-indexed national journals, with four as the first author, demonstrating her active engagement in academic research. A life member of the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (APPI), Dr. Sengupta has also undergone training in Medical Education Technologies and Biomedical Research. Her dedication to medical education, research, and professional development underscores her commitment to advancing medical knowledge and teaching excellence.
