Program details: An external internship is for a period of 6 months (July - December) in the OPD observation, attending CMEs, Community rotations etc. (Including comprehensive school screening, adult screening, occupational optometry). This is subject to the candidates' clearing of all theory exams till the third year. They will be paying a tuition fee as paid by our interns. (approximately INR 65,000).

Entry criteria: An evaluation (Online theory- 50% pass) and interview (By an expert panel) will be conducted to assess the suitability of the candidate.

Timelines

Application: April of every year (INR 1000/ for application and processing) - will be available in the respective websites

Applications deadline: May 31

Online exam and interview: June 2nd week

Subjects: All Optometry subjects (Optics, Ocular diseases, Optometric instruments, clinical integration)

Fee amount:

A fee for internship, library fee and caution deposit. If there is any damage caused for instruments due to mishandling this cost will be adjusted from the caution deposit.
