Ms. Sayantika Chakrabarti completed her Bachelors in Optometry from Vidyasagar College of Optometry & Vision Science, Kolkata (MAKAUT), followed by an internship in Clinical Optometry at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Bhubaneswar, where she gained hands-on experience in comprehensive ocular examination, dispensing optics, specialized ocular assessments, and clinical presentations. She then pursued her Masters in Optometry from the prestigious Elite School of Optometry, a unit of Medical Research Foundation and Vision Research Foundation, Chennai, in collaboration with SASTRA University, Thanjavur. Her master’s research focused on the "Construction and Validation of a Cost-effective Automated Eye Tracker for the Objective Measurement of Heterophoria", through which she gained experience and expertise in her clinical interests including Binocular Vision, Ocular Motility, Eye Tracking and Visual Psychophysics. She has presented at several national and international platforms, received travel and research grant, and has developed a strong interest in teaching alongside her research pursuits.
