About the Workshop: This RGP contact lens fitting workshop provides a structured blend of theory and hands-on clinical training. Participants will learn essential principles of RGP lens fitting, from corneal topography interpretation to corneal GP lens assessment, with focused case discussions on both regular and irregular astigmatism. The workshop is designed to enhance practical skills, promote evidence-based fitting techniques, and improve patient management strategies.
Objectives:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the fundamentals of RGP lenses, including indications and material properties.
2. Interpret corneal topography data for RGP lens selection.
3. Conduct systematic slit-lamp assessments to evaluate lens fit.
4. Analyze and discuss clinical cases involving regular and irregular astigmatism
5. Apply practical skills in trial lens fitting and problem-solving common fit issues.
6. Educate patients effectively about lens handling, care and follow-up.
